This September, I am taking part in the MS Melbourne Run + Ride Festival!
Aside from looking forward to joining others in the fun and atmosphere on the day, I am taking part to raise funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis.
Why am I fundraising?
It’s quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition. The average age of diagnosis is 30 years, and there is no known cure...yet.
Can you imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you usually take for granted? Like not being able to see properly (or at all), you physically can't get out of bed, can't walk to the phone to call someone - anyone - or live a life without pain?
Your support will help people with multiple sclerosis receive the vital support, treatments, and services to help them live well at home, remain connected to work and be part of the community.
Thank you again for your support!
